The five statues come from the niches that crowned the façade of ‘Casa Valenti’ in Via Frattini in Mantua. In 1958 the originals, exhibited here, were dismantled and replaced with copies. They all display stylistic elements of Mantegna and are characterised by strong expressiveness and elegant plasticity.
